Sometimes You Gotta

Gotta sing.

Gotta dance.

Gotta write.

Gotta paint.

Gotta draw.

Gotta act.

Gotta craft.

Gotta film.

Gotta sculpt.

Gotta design.

Gotta photograph.

Gotta entertain.

Gotta play.

Gotta invent.

Gotta think.

Gotta imagine.

Gotta create.

Don’t:

fret, worry, fear, distress, despair, concern, dread, agonize, lose sleep, be bothered, vacillate, be anxious, suffer, torture yourself, anguish.

About:

criticism, failure, success, time, ego, money, fame, audience, imperfection, competition, jealousy, envy, pride, talent.

Just:

share, fail, succeed, learn, practice, do your best, enjoy, self realize, dream, redefine.

Because:

the creative journey is as important as the destination.

“The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination.” Don Williams, Jr

“Focus on the journey, not the destination. Joy is found not in finishing an activity but in doing it.” Greg Anderson

“Experience is the best teacher of all. And for that, there are no guarantees that one will become an artist. Only the journey matters.” Harry Callahan
