A Genius Inventor: Nikola Tesla (on YouTube)Posted: July 11, 2010
Sure, you have had some great ideas. In the shower? While driving? While eating Oreos? For a new product? For improving an existing product?
I actually sort of invented the Sony Walkman before they did. My invention involved a hard hat with a small cassette tape player duct taped to the top and a single ear phone dangling to the ear. Three years later Sony got richer with their new-fangled Walkman.
Sure theirs was better. They invented. I just had the idea. You can’t patent an idea.
Moral of the story: “Ideas are easy. Inventions are difficult.”
